Muppet monsters, surly drunks, wise and beautiful mythical beings, trolls and grunge poets –The Puppet Showplace has got it all. The Best of Boston Puppet Slam offers a wide variety of story telling from the dramatic to the silly. Audience participation is encouraged with improv. Small vignettes, plays and stories are showcased. The Puppet Showplace has been performing since 1974, and their first Puppet Slam took place in 1995. Puppets aren’t just for children anymore.
